AI Enablement Workshop for Wholesale Trade Professionals
Overview
Wholesale trade firms are handling more orders, quotations, claims and supplier queries without adding headcount. AI is widely discussed, but most teams still have no working example of it running inside their own processes. This hands-on workshop closes that gap. Participants pick one real role in their organisation — across HR, sales and marketing, finance and procurement, or customer service — map the work that role actually does, and build a live AI workflow for it during the session using ELLIE, JobKred’s AI workflow engine. Everyone leaves with a functioning workflow, 7 days of ELLIE access after the session, and an action plan to AI-enable that role.

Programme/Agenda
The workshop moves from context to build. It opens with how AI is changing task-level work in wholesale trade — order processing, quotations, accounts, supplier and customer correspondence — and how to judge which parts of a role are genuinely automatable. Participants then select one role and one process from their own organisation and build a working AI workflow for it in ELLIE, with JobKred facilitators on hand throughout. The closing segment covers what changes once the workflow is live: how the role is redesigned around it, what to measure, and how WDG(JR+) support can fund a wider rollout.
Important reminder: Participants should bring a laptop or iPad for the in-depth discussion.
Key areas participants will hear about:
- Where AI genuinely removes work in wholesale trade roles — and where it does not
- Building a live AI workflow end to end: data intake, drafting, human review and action
- Turning an AI workflow into a redesigned job role with measurable productivity outcomes
