AI-Powered Wholesale Trade Transformation: Redesigning Work, Skills and Productivity
Overview
Wholesale trade companies are under pressure to improve productivity, respond faster to customers and suppliers, and build new digital capabilities while managing complex operations and maintaining service quality.
This interactive workshop explores how organizations can move beyond isolated AI experiments by identifying high-value use cases, redesigning workflows and roles, and equipping employees and managers for adoption. Participants will examine practical examples across sales, sourcing, procurement, inventory planning, order management, logistics coordination and corporate functions. Through guided exercises and an AI-enabled workforce diagnostic demonstration, they will learn how to prioritize opportunities, define human and AI decision rights, identify capability gaps and translate ideas into a practical workforce transformation roadmap.
