ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) Industry Consultation
Overview
Join us for the upcoming ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement (AITIGA) Industry Consultation, where businesses across sectors can engage directly with government agencies like the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and Enterprise Singapore. This session offers a unique platform to share your experiences, challenges, and aspirations with key decision-makers as AITIGA undergoes a much-anticipated review to enhance trade benefits.
ASEAN and India have developed a strong trade partnership, with total trade reaching $122.67 billion in 2023-24. This figure underscores the growing importance of the AITIGA, which already plays a central role in India’s Act East policy. This consultation will provide businesses with insights into upcoming changes and an opportunity to voice needs related to tariffs, market access, and regulatory processes, ensuring the agreement supports regional growth while addressing local business priorities.
We invite all businesses - manufacturers, exporters, business development officers, compliance officers, and other representatives with experience - invested in or looking to explore trade opportunities with India under AITIGA to be part of this essential dialogue, shaping a more favourable trade landscape in ASEAN and India.
Your company should be based in Singapore and engaged in or intending to trade with India.
