Overview

“Building Psychologically Safe Teams” is a one-day workshop designed to empower leaders at all levels to bring about a psychologically safe workplace, apply inclusive behaviours, collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues, and enhance their capacity to attain organisational excellence.

This workshop goes beyond the basics, harnessing a framework delving into the required mindset and practical ways for both leaders and staff to co-create psychologically safe spaces.

Event Detail

During this one-day session, participants will be guided on the following:

  • Define and Analyse Psychological Safety: Participants will explore the core components of psychological safety, dissecting its importance for individual and team performance, and examining the consequences of its absence.
  • Cultivate Inclusive Behaviours: Participants will practice proactive inclusive behaviours through interactive exercises and role-playing, focusing on creating a welcoming environment for diverse perspectives.
  • Facilitate Open Communication: Participants will develop skills in active listening, empathetic communication, and constructive feedback, enabling them to foster open dialogue and respectful exchange of ideas, even amidst differing viewpoints.
  • Drive Dialogue for Organizational Outcomes: Participants will learn how to frame questions, manage conflict constructively, and synthesise diverse inputs to drive innovation and improve decision-making.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define and Build Psychological Safety: Understand the core principles of psychological safety and how both leaders and staff contribute to a thriving, inclusive environment.
  • Apply Inclusive Behaviours: Practice inclusive behaviours through a framework to foster respect, collaboration, and a sense of belonging for all stakeholders.
  • Achieve Organisational Excellence: Connect psychological safety to improved individual, team, and organisational performance.
