Overview

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is organising a Business Mission Trip to Northern Italy, covering the regions of Piedmont (Turin) and Lombardy (Milan)

Travel Period:

19 to 23 October 2026

The Business Mission Trip aims to support Singapore companies in exploring business opportunities, establishing commercial partnerships and gaining first-hand insights into one of Europe's leading manufacturing, innovation and food ecosystems.

Designed based on industry feedback received through SBF's Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise, the programme will feature market briefings, curated business matching sessions, company and facility visits, as well as networking opportunities with Italian manufacturers, importers, distributors, buyers, government agencies and industry associations.

The mission will focus on key sectors including Food & Beverage, Advanced Manufacturing and Semiconductor, while remaining open to complementary industries across manufacturing, technology and supply chain ecosystems.

Programme/Agenda

The Business Mission Trip to Northern Italy 2026 is designed to provide Singapore companies with first-hand market exposure and facilitate meaningful business connections with Italian stakeholders across the regions of Lombardy (Milan) and Piedmont (Turin).

The programme combines market briefings, curated business matching sessions, company and facility visits, networking opportunities and engagements with government agencies, chambers of commerce and industry associations to provide participants with practical insights into the Italian market.

Delegates will have the opportunity to visit leading manufacturers, wholesale food distribution centres and innovation ecosystems, while meeting with potential manufacturers, suppliers, importers, distributors, buyers and business partners to explore commercial collaboration opportunities.

The mission will focus on key sectors including Food & Beverage, Advanced Manufacturing and Semiconductor, while remaining open to complementary industries across manufacturing, technology, logistics and supply chain ecosystems.

Through this Business Mission Trip, participants will gain a deeper understanding of Italy's business environment, manufacturing capabilities, innovation ecosystem and distribution networks, while identifying opportunities for market entry, partnerships and business expansion into Italy and the wider European market.

Important Information

Programme: The programme is tentative and may be adjusted based on partner availability, the final delegation profile and operational requirements. Company visits and business matching sessions are subject to confirmation.

Participation Fee: The participation fee covers only the official business mission programme and related activities organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). Participants are responsible for arranging and bearing the costs of their own international airfares, accommodation, travel insurance, visa (if applicable), meals not included in the official programme, and any personal expenses incurred during the mission.
