This Business Mission to UAE is jointly organised by HSBC and Singapore Business Federation (SBF).
Abu Dhabi:
Abu Dhabi is investing AED 10 billion to expand manufacturing to AED 172 billion by 2031, aiming to boost non-oil exports by 143%. The UAE's "Energy Strategy 2050" targets increasing clean energy to 50% of the energy mix and reducing power generation's carbon footprint by 70%. Abu Dhabi is also positioning itself as a global AI leader through major investments in advanced technologies.
Dubai is a global leader in finance, tech and sustainability. It's driving UAE's industrial growth through investments in manufacturing, renewable energy, and advanced technologies. Dubai's focus on innovation, infrastructure, and green initiatives positions it as a key player in the Middle East and beyond.
Sharjah:
Sharjah is diversifying its economy through investments in manufacturing, renewable energy, and technology. In 2023, it attracted US$18.9 million in FDI for manufacturing and issued 10% more industrial licenses. Sharjah is committed to green energy, with 35% of its 2023 budget allocated to advancing sectors like AI, green tech, and healthcare tech.
