  • Overview of Key Consumer Protection Laws: Understanding the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA), Lemon Law, and relevant CCCS guidelines.

  • Consumer Rights and Business Obligations: Identifying what consumers are entitled to and the legal responsibilities of businesses.

  • Product Defects and Warranty Obligations: Insights into the Lemon Law, including handling product defects, customer refunds or repairs

  • Common pitfalls – E-commerce, Price Transparency and Misleading Advertising: Covering unfair trading practices arising from e-commerce sales, displaying prices, and sales advertising

  • Dispute Resolution and Enforcement: Navigating complaint channels, mediation, and the role of government agencies such as CASE, STB and CCCS

  • Best Practices for Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Strategies to ensure compliance, avoid legal issues, and maintain a trustworthy brand reputation
