Overview
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) refers to activities that comprise initiatives and actions undertaken by organisations to create fairness and a sense of belonging for their employees. This is regardless of their gender, origin, ethnicity and other demographic characteristics. Many studies have shown that promoting DEI in the workplace create a positive culture whereby employees are able to perform to their full potential and deliver better business results. Many organisations have incorporated DEI into their HR policies and strategies to develop high performing teams.

During this ½ day session, participants will be guided on the following :
Scope of Diversity, Equity, Inclusions (DEI) :
- Setting DEI targets
- Managing sensitive employee data
- Handling grievances
- Avoiding discrimination
- Understand and implement DEI principles in their workplace
There will be real life, practical and relevant case studies shared and interactive discussions during the workshop. Participants will gain invaluable insights on how to navigate DEI challenges effectively back in their workplace.

At the end of the workshop, participants would be able to :
- gain comprehensive overview of current legislation, including TAFEP guidelines and the upcoming Workplace Fairness Legislation (WFL)
- understand the principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), emphasizing fair treatment and removing bias, promote openness and mutual respect throughout all stages of employment
