Microsoft Power BI is the business analytic tool that has the ability to turn data from different sources into coherent, visually impactful and interactive insights. It allows faster processing of data and enables users to connect to several data sources, resulting in dynamic visualisation and better decision-making for their work.
This is a 1-day Power BI mastery workshop. Participants can look forward to interactive discussions with the trainer on some interesting examples, relevant insights and practical hands-on session.

During this 1-day session, participants will be guided on the following :
Introduction To Microsoft Power BI
- What is Microsoft Power BI and its elements ?
Connect To Data Source
- Get data
- Combine data
- Load data
Transform To Better Data
- Transform/clean data so the data becomes suitable for analysis
Create Data Model
- Build relationships to link data
Create Interactive Visualisations
- Use visuals like Matrix, Pie Chart, Score Card etc to tell stories by highlighting trends and patterns
Enhance Data Analysis with DAX
- Use DAX to calculate key metrics and analyse data better
Programme/Agenda
At the end of the workshop, participants would be able to :
- perform data drill down analysis for deeper examination
- prepare appropriate and multiple reports through the use of templates, filters and slicers available
