Muscat, Oman: Unlocking Opportunities in Real Estate & the Built Environment
Overview
Muscat, Oman: Unlocking Opportunities in Real Estate & the Built Environment Oman’s real estate and built-environment sector presents practical opportunities for Singapore companies seeking to engage master developers, commercial developers, buyers and ecosystem partners with active project requirements.
Organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), this Overseas Business Mission to Muscat will provide participants with direct access to state-backed and commercial developers, the Omani real estate ecosystem and financing stakeholders. Through targeted meetings, participants will gain a clearer understanding of procurement requirements, technology-partnership opportunities, vendor qualification criteria and potential pathways for entering the Omani market. The mission is focused on business development and commercial partnership opportunities. It is not intended for property investment or purchasing.
What to Expect: Direct Buyer Access & Practical Market Engagement
- Engagement with Major Developers – Meet state-backed master developers and commercial developers with long-term projects, active requirements and potential opportunities for Singapore companies.
- Understanding Procurement Needs – Gain first-hand insights into the solutions Omani developers are seeking, their procurement priorities, proposal requirements and vendor onboarding criteria.
- Oman–Singapore Business Forum – Connect with Omani developers, buyers and ecosystem stakeholders to explore practical collaboration and partnership opportunities.
- Market Entry & Local Partnerships – Identify relevant buyers, potential local partners and suitable approaches for establishing a presence and pursuing opportunities in Oman.
- Technology & Capability Partnerships – Explore how Singapore solutions in PropTech, smart buildings, security, engineering, sustainability and specialised built-environment services can support projects in Oman.
- Financing & Market Enablement – Understand financing considerations and possible pathways that may support project development and commercial conversion.
From Market Exploration to Commercial Outcomes The programme is designed to help participating companies answer three practical questions:
- Where are the most credible opportunities for Singapore companies?
- What solutions and capabilities do Omani buyers and developers need?
- How can Singapore companies enter the market and progress towards concrete commercial opportunities?
The objective is for each participant to complete the mission with a named potential buyer or partner, a clearer understanding of the relevant market requirements, and an actionable next step for follow-up.
