Singapore Business Federation, supported by Enterprise Singapore, is organizing an overseas market workshop in Jakarta from 19 – 23 May 2025. This trip to Jakarta will provide businesses with direct insights into Indonesia’s business landscape. Participants will hear from industry leaders, connect with key stakeholders, and visit companies that are shaping Indonesia’s digital transformation. This program will equip businesses with practical knowledge about the market, regulatory landscape, and strategies for expansion.
Eligibility for Government Support:
To qualify for government subsidies, participants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents employed by eligible Singapore-based companies.

Event Detail

S$ 1250 (Singaporean or PR)
S$ 1800 (Non-Singaporean or Non-PR)
Fee is inclusive of lectures, seminars, business meetings, corporate visits, local transport services, and meals stated in programme.
The course fee of S$ 1,250 is after government subsidies and is subjected to Enterprise Singapore’s approval. No further reimbursement will be made upon return from the trip. Please note that only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents from Singapore incorporated companies (Sole proprietors and individuals do not qualify) qualify for the financial support of course fee for this Overseas Market Workshop.
Participant without subsidies need to pay for the full fee at S$ 1800.
o Airfares, accommodation, and personal expenses are not included. Participants are responsible for covering these costs.
o Please book your airfare and hotel only after receiving an official invoice from SBF confirming your registration.
o Invoices will be issued within 2-3 weeks before the departure date, and full payment must be received to secure your registration.
Programme/Agenda
Below are the daily highlights of the business mission trip, summarizing key activities, discussions, and networking opportunities from 19 to 23 May 2025.
• Day 1 (Monday, 19 May 2025): The mission begins with an evening welcome briefing by SBF outlining the program objectives, followed by a formal networking dinner with ambassadors, business chambers, and trade associations to foster Singapore-Indonesia business ties.
• Day 2 (Tuesday, 20 May 2025): Participants engage in a roundtable with KADIN and the Ministry of Investment, discussing Indonesia’s trade outlook and FDI opportunities, followed by a lunch with business leaders and a session by APINDO on navigating operational realities in Indonesia.
• Day 3 (Wednesday, 21 May 2025): The focus shifts to digital economy collaboration with KOMDIGI and major tech players, featuring discussions on AI, cloud, and digital policy, along with sessions on market entry, legal frameworks, and networking with local and Singaporean business leaders.
• Day 4 (Thursday, 22 May 2025): Participants attend the Festival of Digital Innovation by XCION to explore Indonesia’s tech landscape, followed by networking with tech stakeholders and sessions on investment pathways and SOE partnerships led by Jakarta Investment Centre and Pijar Foundation.
• Day 5 (Friday, 23 May 2025): The mission wraps up with continued engagement at the Festival of Digital Innovation by XCION and a visit to BSD City’s Digital Hub to learn about Indonesia’s smart city and digital infrastructure development, before returning to Singapore in the afternoon.
