Introduction

This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding on local labour laws and practices in the target Southeast Asia (SEA) countries. This will explain how labour laws in the SEA countries work in relation to their company, helps ensure that they meet the minimum and mandatory requirements. Having the knowledge of these laws and practices is crucial to the success of the business as it involves the life cycle of the employee, from the hiring process through the time employment ends.

 

Course Objectives

Upon completion of course, participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the practices of labour laws and working conditions in the target countries
  • Implement the labour laws and practices to ensure your company meets the minimum and mandatory requirements,
  • Improve employee management to solve issues using the country’s labour laws

 

Learning Methodology

First 4 to 5 hours will be conducted through asynchronous e-learning with self-paced online training, quizzes, and other interactive activities to retain understanding(to be completed within 4 weeks). The remaining 1.5 to 2 hours will be facilitated through webinars( webinar Q & A).
