Eyeing Asia : Employment Law In Malaysia

This is a ½ day virtual learning programme. Upon successful registration and payment, registrants will receive a Zoom link and access details of the online workshop.

Overview

The area of employment law in Malaysia has always known to be pro-employees. Foreign investors who entered into the Malaysia market usually find themselves unaware or not well-informed about the differences in human resource practice and management in Malaysia. Making a mistake in such practice can be costly to employers if an industrial action is subsequently commenced by employees against them. As companies consider establishing offices in Malaysia, it is important for business owners and senior management of companies to have the fundamental understanding of labour practices and are compliant with the local labour laws.

This ½ day workshop will focus on the relevant and accurate application of employment laws in Malaysia and the critical changes that have taken place in respect of those laws. There will also be a brief sharing on the "S" in ESG and how this has impacted employers in Malaysia.
