RISE Virtual: Safeguarding Your Brand Overseas


SYNOPSIS
Many companies faced challenges with their brands when expanding or doing business overseas. The risks have become more rampant in the digital age as ideas and trends freely flow. In this course, you will learn the essential knowledge and skills to create and implement brand protection strategies and manage brand abuse in order to maximise the goodwill your brand brings to your business. While the program caters for brand protection when overseas, there will be an emphasis in the context of expanding or doing business in China.

The workshop will focus on corporate management, marketing, IP, legal and IT personnel with essential knowledge and skills to collaboratively deal with brand abuse and safeguard the brands for max business returns.

This interactive online workshop taking place during two consecutive 3.5 hours per session. It is meant to provide information, knowledge and skills about Safeguarding Your Brand Overseas.

  • Identify various tiers of domain names aligned with brand protection

  • Locate the routes to file complaints dealing with counterfeit listings, social media profiles and hijacked keywords in China
  • Propose internal training for your company employees against vishing & phishing
  • Propose external campaigns for the public to stay away from the scams on your brands
  • Set out the considerations when adopting external brand protection services
  • Interpret how to review and appraise a brand protection strategy
