Overview
Everyday contracts are being drafted and used by many in their daily work and life. Yet, their legal consequences are rarely well understood by individuals which may give rise to unnecessary and costly disputes.
This 1-day workshop aims to enable non-legal participants to gain a better understanding of fundamental contract law principles and recognise when a contract is formed and binding, interpret the terms of a contract and understanding your legal obligations, recognise when a contract may be terminated due to the parties' conduct or operation of law, understand the various mechanisms for resolving a contractual dispute, learn how to deal with the potential pitfalls and risks when dealing with contracts.
