In today’s dynamic and competitive business environment, the path to sustainable growth demands more than organic expansion. Strategic growth through Mergers and Acquisitions (M&As) or alliances can unlock new opportunities, enabling companies to leverage synergies, enter new markets, and gain a competitive edge. However, navigating the complexities of M&A requires a deep understanding of its processes, risks and opportunities.

This ½ day workshop will delve into the essential stages of M&A and offer practical insights into mitigating common M&A risks.

Event Detail

During this ½ day session, participants will be guided on the following :

1. Initial Deal Structuring: Exploring key considerations like share vs. asset sales, merger controls, and other regulatory considerations which affect an M&A transaction, including competition risks

2. Due Diligence Process: Understanding the M&A due diligence process

3. Key M&A Terms: Reviewing critical terms, such as consideration, conditions precedent (such as approvals and merger control and process), warranties and disclosures, and indemnities

4. Post-Completion Integration: Discussing the importance of post-completion integration to unlock the true value of an M&A transaction

  • navigate complex regulatory landscapes with confidence
  • identify and mitigate risks during due diligence and integration
