SBI260858-Understanding Regional Transfer Pricing *Singapore Updates!*
Overview
Transfer Pricing (TP) is a specialised area of taxation that governs the pricing of transactions between related parties. The way these intra-group transactions are priced directly influences how profits are allocated among entities within a multinational group. When prices deviate from the arm’s length principle, profits may be shifted in a manner that does not reflect economic reality, resulting in tax leakages or excessive taxation across jurisdictions.
This 1 full-day workshop aims to equip participants with a strong foundation in the core principles, concepts and practical application of transfer pricing. Using case studies and real-world examples, the trainer will walk participants through the key elements of a typical TP analysis, from functional analysis to benchmarking and documentation.
Special attention will be given to the 8th Edition of the Singapore TP Guidelines (issued in November 2025), including latest updates on pricing of financial transactions and enhanced expectations on preparation of contemporaneous TP documentation.
The TP course comprises two modules:
- Transfer Pricing (Part 1): Key Principles, Analysis and Methods
- Transfer Pricing (Part 2): TP Considerations for Specific Transactions
