Trainer Profile
Leon Khor has three decades of experience in business development, policy analysis & planning, and trade diplomacy across the ASEAN region. His career journey has seen him in roles spanning multinational corporations (MNCs) and government agencies, where he engaged in navigating complex regulatory environments, market and trade access issues and fostering relationships with external stakeholders.
For 13 years, Leon worked at Saudi Basic Industrial Corporation (SABIC), a major global petrochemical manufacturer as their Regional Senior Manager for Government Relations covering ASEAN and ANZ. As the Government Relations regional lead, Leon worked closely with the various regional business and supply chain to address various regulatory and trade issues with regional governments as well as profiling of SABIC as a responsible corporate citizen in the ESG domain.
Leon was an Associate Trainer at Singapore’s Civil Service College (CSC), where he developed and conducted training programs focusing on trade promotion and foreign direct investment (FDI) strategies and policies.
