Overview

Vietnam, one of ASEAN’s fastest-growing economies and position as a global economic hub, presents unmatched opportunities for growth and diversification. Ho Chi Minh City, now elevated to Megatropolis status, anchors an integrated economic zone linking:​

  • Ba Ria–Vung Tau – strategic deep-sea port and renewable energy hub​
  • Binh Duong City – Vietnam’s leading smart city for advanced manufacturing​

​To seize these prospects, the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), with partners UOB, Rajah & Tann, and RSM, will lead a mission to Ho Chi Minh City, scheduled from Monday 30 March – Thursday 2 April 2026.​

​Participants will explore new market entry opportunities, build strategic connections with leaders and partners, gain expert insights on legal and financial frameworks, and secure first-mover advantage in Vietnam’s evolving manufacturing landscape.

Programme/Agenda

Tentative Programme:

Day 1: Participants will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and check-in to their hotels. The program will begin with a briefing session to provide an overview of Vietnam market. In the evening, delegates will join a networking dinner with Government and Trade Agencies.

Day 2: The second day will start with a briefing session discussing investment opportunities in the Greater HCMC “Megatropolis,” highlighting connectivity, sector-specific growth areas, and market entry support. A leading logistics firm will share present on Vietnam’s supply chain ecosystem, covering logistics challenges, reforms, and cost trends. This will be followed by a focused session on the impact of exports to the US, addressing key trade dynamics. After a networking lunch with agencies and industry contacts, the afternoon will feature sessions on digital transformation for businesses in Vietnam and deepening collaboration with Vietnamese enterprises. The day will conclude with a networking session with business leaders from one of the largest Vietnam business networks to explore potential collaborations and build strategic relationships.

Day 3: Participants will visit Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) in Binh Duong to explore infrastructure, FDI success stories, and business opportunities, followed by DHL logistics facility visit. The day concludes with a corporate networking dinner hosted by the organizing partners.

Day 4: The mission ends with a 1 to 1 Business Matching session, where each participant will be matched with a relevant partner based on their stated business requirements.

Note: The program will be conducted in English.
