This roundtable will feature a conversation with Ms Omega Vázquez, Federal Secretary of Economy Representative for the State of Michoacán, Mexico, who is leading the Pacific–Asia Commercial Mission to position the region as a reliable destination for international investment and value chain integration.

Michoacán is one of the country’s most established agro-industrial and export-oriented states. Located along Mexico’s Pacific corridor, it plays a critical role in food production, processing and international trade, with strong capabilities across fresh and processed agriculture, manufacturing and logistics. Government-led efforts are focused on strengthening international linkages, promoting fiscal and structural incentives, and integrating local industries into global supply chains.

Through this session, the companies will gain a clearer understanding of how this industrial hub is evolving into a strategic entry point into cross-border value chains serving North America and beyond.
