  • Climate Risk Framework, Management & Reporting *new!*

Overview

ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles guiding the triple bottom line - People, Planet and Profit, are reshaping every sector by aligning financial decisions with long-term environmental and social goals. Doing well & doing good are intertwined; successful business stratgies include both.

Understanding climate risks, incorporating these into business and investment strategies demonstrate a company’s capability to manage the financial implications of climate change. This approach not only supports the transition to a low-carbon, inclusive economy but also builds trust, transparency and long-term value for stakeholders. Hence climate reporting is increasingly becoming a standard requirement within sustainability reporting frameworks. SGX mandates climate-related disclosures in sustainability reports. Climate disclosures can also be a competitive advantage, providing firms with an edge in securing contracts, sustaining business relationships and/or securing financing from investors, banks.

Participants can look forward to interactive discussions with the trainer on some interesting examples, relevant insights including the use of AI and real cases during this workshop.
