TAC Aspiring Leaders Programme (TALP)
Overview
The TAC Aspiring Leaders Programme (TALP) is designed to nurture the next generation of TAC leaders. Targeted at high-potential middle managers and emerging leaders, the programme develops capabilities in strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and leadership resilience.
This 4-month programme combines mentorship with industry professionals, immersive leadership camps, and gamified simulations to prepare participants for expanded leadership roles and ensure leadership continuity across the TAC ecosystem.

Course Objectives
Develop confidence to step into leadership roles and take on broader responsibilities
Strengthen strategic thinking and decision-making skills in a TAC context
Enhance stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
Learn alongside peers and apply insights through hands-on project work and simulation.
Course Fees
Please note that the course fee is $7,500 excluding GST. Eligible participants from TACs are entitled to up to 90% funding support. (SBF will conduct eligibility assessment.)
With 90% funding, each participant will pay $1,425 ($750 + 9% GST on $7,500).

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND
Develop the necessary skills to diagnose and address emerging challenges and leverage opportunities in workplaces.
Articulate and discuss ideas and persuade others to achieve common outcomes
Influence, guide, and handle others’ emotions to build instrumental relationships and manage conflicts and disagreements
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Middle managers and emerging leaders nominated by Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) in Singapore.
TALP Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, please ensure that both the TAC and nominated participant meet the following eligibility requirements:
TAC Requirements
- Registered as a Trade Association or Chamber of Commerce under ROS or ACRA.
- Represents the business interests of trade(s) or industry sector(s) whose members operate in and from Singapore.
- Has a management committee, board, or council overseeing its activities.
- Employs at least three full-time salaried staff.
Participant Requirements
- Singapore Citizen / PR.
- Full-time employee of the TAC.
- High-potential middle-level professional.
- Minimum Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- Not bonded under an existing scholarship or bursary.
- Not seconded by another organisation or agency to the applicant TAC.
At least 2 years of relevant full-time working experience in a TAC.
