Overview

Talent-Ready Employers (TRE) is a half-day learning program that will teach
participants how to maximise the value of working with new employees and
employees in new job roles and create a positive working experience and
environment for the employees.


This training will raise the company's overall brand perception, set up new joiners
and employees in new roles for success, improving overall employees’ performance
and retention. This will be useful for companies that are:
● taking on Global-Ready Talent (GRT) programme
● growing their team of full-timers
● having employees embarking on Career Conversion Programme (CCP)


By the end of the training, beside the knowledge gained, participants will also have
concrete documents that can be applied immediately. The documents include:
a. Key Employee Value Proposition (EVP) tenets
b. Refined job description for roles they are hiring
c. Onboarding checklist to set up employees for success
d. Sample goals for one role to align on expectations
e. Exit interview questions

Event Detail

This half-day training programme will consist of both lectures and break-out
sessions to cover key areas throughout the employee life cycle.

Module 1: Attracting new joiners with the right fit
Understand your company’s value proposition to potential new joiners
● Determine key traits in new joiners
● Define new joiners’ job scope
● Understand what makes an effective job description
Module 2: Keeping them engaged with purpose and goal
Elements of a well-defined goal
● Different types of goals and their objectives
● Guiding questions to set suitable goals
● How to provide objective feedback
Module 3: Onboarding new joiners effectively
DOs and DON’Ts of onboarding
● 7/30/60-day activities
● Before, during and after their first day
Module 4: Off-boarding in a positive manner
● DOs and DON’Ts of offboarding
● How to conduct an effective exit interview
