Overview
The Tariff Finder is a complimentary online database for Singapore Businesses with tariff & non-tariff information covering more than 150 countries. The recent changes in US tariffs have significant implications for businesses engaged in international trade. This workshop on using the Tariff Finder is particularly useful in navigating these changes. Through a combination of presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain practical experience in using the Tariff Finder to determine import duties and identify applicable Free Trade Agreements and Rules of Origin.

About the Speakers:
Poon Wing See
Before joining the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Poon Wing See accrued significant experience in the logistics sector, specialising in freight forwarding for the last 15 years. At SBF, Wing See plays a pivotal role in helping businesses navigate the complexities of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and advising on trade compliance issues. Her work focuses on assisting businesses in leveraging these agreements to optimise corporate trade strategies. Additionally, Wing See spearheads initiatives aimed at boosting businesses' capabilities in FTA planning, empowering them to fully capitalise on the benefits of FTAs for competitive advantage. Gan Hock Chye
Gan Hock Chye is a seasoned trade professional with over 15 years of experience spanning international trade, healthcare, and community development. He currently serves as Lead Manager at the Singapore Business Federation.
With his continually expanding knowledge of global markets, Hock Chye specialises in helping businesses effectively utilise free trade agreements, navigate international trade law, and comply with export controls. A frequent speaker at workshops and forums, he provides thought leadership on trade policy, international market expansion, and economic integration.
